Cob Structures

Since there are building code restrictions which prevent cob and adobe houses to be built, structures are limited to ovens, benches, saunas, studios, coops, art sculptures, and interior design. However, in Sonoma County, if a structure is 120 sq ft or less, and does not have electricity or plumbing, a building permit is not required, which allows for a very simple hut dwelling.
